I had to escort a friend of mine to the oral surgeon the other day to have his wisdom teeth removed, and I noticed something I found humorous. In the reception area, there was a sign that informed me that Nitrous Oxide (or laughing gas) on any operation will cost extra, and if I would like to add Nitrous Oxide to any operation, I could do so at the extra charge. Is it just me, or does that sound like super-sizing your value meal? I asked the lady if I could have some to go, but she just looked at me and laughed. I think she used it all herself.
