I’ve never had this conflict before, but is it bad that I kind of want to follow Arena Football simply because Mike Greenburg and Mike Golic (of Mike and Mike in the morning on ESPN radio) are doing TV announcing?

To some extent, football is football, even though Arena football is often viewed as the NASCAR of Football. You’ll see a few very talented players, and get to root for a Grand Rapids team for once. I say go for it.
I agree. We need someone to be interested in the Columbus Destroyers.
Mike and Mike are a great team on the radio, and with the mediocrity in sports casting they can’t do any worse than another random team that espn could have picked. I think it’s a great move on espn’s part and I’m looking forward to watching some of the games for the exact same reason.
