There’s a church on my drive home from work that consistently has bad/cheesy/confusing sayings on their marquee. For example here’s the most recent:

“No shots fired — Democracy works”

I’ve been racking my brain to figure out what on earth that means. And here’s one they had several months ago that also perplexed me:

“No temptation is too bad to not try twice”

I don’t think that says what they meant it to say.

I had thought for a while of starting up a category on my blog for bad church signs that I saw. However, when I saw the site Crummy Church Signs, I realized that it does a much better job than I could do. Here’s one of my recent favorites from there:

I love the fact that the correct spelling of Baptist is just above the incorrect.
